Another highlight? The frozen margaritas, easily regarded as the best in town. Margaret Johnson, a regular patron, passionately endorses the Frozen Texas Margarita, underscoring its status as a must-try beverage during your visit.

“ My family and I were in the area and wanted to visit a local restaurant. I'm so glad we decided on this hidden gem! It was about 9 pm when we arrived so it was dark outside. We saw there was outdoor seating but decided to go in. The atmosphere was family friendly. I ordered the Apollo Espinica. It's chicken topped with spinach, cheese, and comws with rice and beans. It was scrumptious. I did not get the beans. Other orders at my table included chicken tender, steak burrito ( daughter said it was the best even the the burrito wrap was seasoned) , bowl of cheese dip (small, but BEST we all at the table ever had). The server, an older Mexican guy was not so friendly initially. I think it was due to language barrier. However, the other people at the restaurant were AMAZING. My daughter had a list of restaurants to visit for her birthday. She has edited her list to include this one! This place is about 2 hours from my house and YES I WOULD MOST definitely visit again! ”
“ We tried different dishes this time. The chicken chilaquiles and 4 enchiladas were delicious. So were the chips and salsa. Best of all there was a breeze out on the patio, and the peach frozen margarita was the best, creamy and tasty. Service team worked together and got it done. ”
“ Our Favorite Local Spot – A True Gem! We absolutely love this place. It's hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant in Decatur—and honestly, maybe all of Atlanta. The food is consistently tasty, the prices are super reasonable, and the frozen margaritas? Easily the best in town. (Seriously, don't skip the Frozen Texas Margarita.) We come here often and are always impressed by how fast the food comes out and how well-run everything is. This is very much a family-owned vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Also worth noting: the air conditioning is always blasting, which makes it the perfect reward after a hot summer walk. Whether you’re craving tacos, enchiladas, or just a strong margarita and chips, this spot delivers every single time. Highly recommended. Support this local gem—you won’t regret it! ”
“ The price is reasonable and the portion size is good. I loved the tortilla chips they offered as a free appetizer. The waiter was friendly and the service was good. There is ample space for parking close by. I would say this is a nice place for a cyclist to have food as the area seems good for cycling. ”
“ The service was fine and the food was okay. Nothing special. Could certainly use more flavor. The worst issue that needs to be immediately cleaned is the dust balls around the booths and overhang. While trying to eat, it’s unappealing. We would have sat outside but wanted to avoid the heat and mosquitoes. ”
